Welcome to MECH99. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our platform, including our website, mobile application, and doorstep bike repair and garage coordination services. By booking a service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Agreement to Terms
By registering an account, downloading the app, or ordering a repair, you enter a legally binding contract with MECH99 Mobility Pvt. Ltd. If you do not agree with any of these conditions, you must immediately cease using our services.
2. Bookings & Services
MECH99 provides comprehensive coordination for regular bike tune-ups, custom repairs, and emergencies:
- Appointment Slots: Service bookings are subject to mechanic availability inside selected time windows.
- Inspection & Estimates: A physical inspection is conducted at pickup or doorstep arrival. Any repair price adjustments require your explicit approval in-app before work begins.
- Spare Parts: Only original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or verified brand-equivalent spares will be used.
3. Garage Partners
For extensive repairs requiring a workshop environment:
- Audited Workspaces: Your bike will only be repaired at certified partner workshops listed in our database.
- Standards Audit: We audit all partner workshops to guarantee standard machinery, high-quality fluids, and professional mechanical techniques.
- Staffing: All repair procedures are supervised or completed by MECH99 verified technicians.
4. Payments & Billing
All service invoices are managed digitally to prevent pricing discrepancies:
- Invoicing: A detailed breakdown of labor charges, diagnostics, and parts replaced will be issued in-app.
- Advance Payments: Heavy engine rebuilds or custom modifications may require a parts advance.
- Cashless Settlements: All digital payment options (UPI, Credit Cards, Netbanking) are accepted. Cash payment must be specifically authorized.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
We respect our riders' schedules and expect reciprocal cooperation:
- Cancellations: You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 2 hours before the service slot.
- Late Cancellation: If a doorstep mechanic has already reached your location, a minor convenience fee of ₹150 will be charged.
- Refunds: Disputed bills or overcharges will be evaluated within 48 hours and refunded directly to your original payment method.
6. Pick-up & Drop Service
When selecting our Pickup & Garage Repair option, you authorize our verified rider to drive your vehicle to and from the partner garage. We verify that all pickup executives hold active, valid commercial driving licenses.
7. Limitation of Liability
While we take maximum precautions to handle your vehicle safely, MECH99 is not liable for:
- Pre-existing internal engine damage, structural cracks, or wear-and-tear not caused by our mechanics.
- Loss of personal items left in the bike toolboxes or storage cavities during transit.
- Force majeure situations (floods, strikes, earthquakes) that impact delivery dates or repair schedules.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
